Sessions can be held at your home or on location and usually last anything from one to two hours, but can last longer if required.

For 'Home' shoots, I will require an area of around 4x3 metres to allow space to set up my background and lighting equipment.

For 'On Location' shoots I will meet you at a location of your choice, in a park, at the beach etc - it will depend on the style of portraits you have in mind.

Your clothing choice is a very important part of creating your portraits. For group photos co-ordinated clothing in the same shade and style reflects the unity and intimacy of your family. It will ensure great shots with the focus on the people rather than the clothes. Also for the studio setup, white on a white background doesn't work as well as natural tones or bright colours. Please feel free to bring any accessories along; a favourite toy or something which is special to your child/pet can add a unique feel to your portraits. My aim of the session is for you to be relaxed so that I can capture photos of you being yourself...children, adults and pets need time to relax and feel at home.

The session images will be individually edited and narrowed down to a final 20 to 40 photos. You will receive a link to a gallery of your images so you can pick your favourites.

When they are ready you can either pick them up, or I will drop them off / post them to you.
